“Where can you safely express what is happening in your mind and heart?”
“Where can you discover your unique style of speaking?”
“Where can you meet like-minded people in a fun and meaningful way?”
During our time in Leuven, we didn’t have a space like this. So we created Emblaze.
In practical terms, we organized a limited series of free events for young-adults (18-35y) throughout Leuven.
Our events typically featured:
One to five personal speeches from those who followed our crash course.
Interactive breaks where the participants got to know each other in a fun and creative way (e.g. sharing something about yourself to someone new using a paperclip as a prompt)
A mini workshop where we zoomed in on one specific public speaking aspect (e.g. storytelling), and where you could experiment with it from a structured and spontaneous point of view.
We organized full day crash courses where we explored people’s authentic style of self-expression.
Our goal was to give them the technical and emotional confidence to be able to give a speech from their heart.
See the tab ‘workshops’ for more information.
Out of the serendipitous collision of two different personalities, Emblaze was born.
Next to shared interests such as reading books, listening to music, and making our ideas a reality, we collectively have:
12 years of experience in event organisation
and given
60+ workshops in public speaking
100+ speeches to audiences of 5-500 people

Since our goal is to foster as much real-life human connection as possible, we do not promote on social media.
